Housing Admission Criteria

Are you interested in living in our home?

Admission must be voluntary
Single mother with custody of 1 child under the age of 5

Willing to live in a Communal setting with other residents
Preferably between the ages of 18 and 24 years old

Willing to adhere to the Resident Policy Handbook and guidelines for living at Moms Haven of Hope

Is willing to work at approximately 20 hours and pay a $400 Monthly Program Fee

Should be finishing High School or getting a G.E.D or if graduated must be employed and seeking further schooling or job training

Provide your own Daycare for child when out of the home

Background check showing no violent misdemeanors, no felonies or no current Warrants

Disclose any current Mental Health issues. Unfortunately, we cannot accept women with severe, untreated, mental health issues as we do not have the proper training to provide needed assistance.

No active alcohol or chemical addictions (at least 3 to 6 months of documented recovery) upon admission. Current clean drug screen will be required. Must be willing to have random UA screenings, at any given time during the program.

No severe medical conditions that pose a hazard to residents, staff or volunteers and is beyond the capability of our staff and facility.

Be mobile enough to climb and descend flights of stairs daily.

Support group

Depending on interest and leadership we would love to open up this group. A group that is focused on ministering to the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of single mothers and their children. This would also include planning various mom’s night out events or provide scholarships to special events!
